Laurance Rassin recently debuted his strikingly beautiful collection of boldy printed scarves, tops, skirts, dresses and other women's wearables at London Fashion Week. He was electric at the Braman Motorcars sponsored 2008 Palm Beach Fashion Week's "Rock The Ritz" party.
Rassin moved the audience with not only his fashions but the energy of voice as he introduced his models with a song he composed.
Rassin is an abstract expressionist and surrealist painter and fashion designer, whose original canvasses have been featured in galleries from Palm Beach, FLA., to Philadelphia, PA., is a graduate of the American University film program.
Rassin’s work as an innovator in the ad/entertainment arena has earned him recognition in Daily Variety, Adweek, CNN, The Washington Post, and a bevy of other publications, domestic and international.
Turning his attentions towards painting and fashion designing a few, short years ago, Laurance’s unyielding creative energy has afforded him the opportunity to develop a unique, idyllic approach to painting that on countless occasions has been likened to a cross between Picasso, Mattise, and Chagal.
“My canvases are clearly & absolutely the complete expression of the incomplete intellect,” Rassin jokes. “I see my art as a medium to work through life’s challenges. Because I rarely use brushes, I feel the paint like say a child would, however, with less wit, slightly.”
Laurance also fronts the rock band, “The Jones Patrol,” and is recording a debut album, entitled, The Jones Patrol-Good Looking Out!”

Ritz Designer #1: Laurance Rassin Emerging on the fashion and art scene
Ritz Carlton-Palm Beach 2008 - It was lights - action - camera - on a breezy evening at the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach where Braman clients were treated to three high energy fashion shows featuring the designs of Diana Dorozhkina, Laurance Rassin and Rafael Cennamo as part of Palm Beach Fashion Week.
The star-studded event promised excitement from the moment our Audi, BMW, Bentley, MINI, Porsche and Rolls Royce guests stepped out of their cars at the Rit'z Carlton's entrance and were treated to a 5 model photo shoot with four photographers including famed photographer Ralph Notaro.
Braman guests proceeded to the venue which was absolutely fabulous for the activities of the evening where over 450 mingled poolside for a delicious assortment of appetizers and open bar.
The weather was picture perfect as mild to brisk ocean breezes and sounds of crashing waves mixed with the high intensity music of a New York City inspired fashion show.
The catwalk was incredible; an acrylic runway built over the pool that gave the impression that the models were walking on water. Actually, they were really on top of the gigantic Ritz Carlton swimming pool that the runway was built on.
Braman guests partied all night long in the "Braman VIP Lounge"  and were treated to the greatest of service that the Ritz could provide. The VIP lounge was in a stantioned surrounded-high security outdoor living room complete with white leather couches, chairs and futons as well as high top tables and the best view of the fashion show runway.
Be sure to join us for our next Braman Motorcars event. If you are our client, you are invited. After all, you are a Braman VIP aren't you? If not... get with the program.
