Vinceremos, the therapeutic riding school for the handicapped, had its “Night Under the Stars” on February 22nd. It was a grand night and featured “ A Feast of Luxury Automobiles presented by Braman Motorcars. Braman Motorcars worked closely with the Vinceremos staff to make this a very successful fund raiser for a very worthy cause.
Braman Motorcars contributed a two year lease on a Mini Cooper and in the auction part of the evening, the lease helped to raise almost $14,000. Braman Motorcars has gone even further in supporting this wonderful charity by offering to continue the campaign throughout the coming year. Anyone who attended and kept their “bid” card may call a special number to drive one of our beautiful automobiles. Should they buy the automobile, a not insignificant donation will be made to Vinceremos.
Vinceremos has a goal of raising a million dollars to build an indoor arena for the children and veterans that it serves. The fundraiser on February 22 raised a quarter of a million dollars toward that goal. With that amount Vinceremos is close to having met the three quarter mark of their financial goal.
Braman takes pride in supporting community activities and especially those that provide such important services to our children in need. In the course of this year, Vinceremos will begin working with wounded Veterans, using the “Healing Power of horses” to advance their rehabilitation and help them to regain their confidence. Throughout the campaign, Braman was pleased to let our customers know that “Braman gives horsepower to Vinceremos. Braman will continue to be there all year long for Vinceremos.
In the next week, the couple who bid on the Minicooper, Mr. and Mrs. John McCarthy will come to our dealership to pick up their brand new Mini for their daughter. Everyone wins; the children who need our help and support and the winning couple who wanted their daughter to drive a safe car that gets amazing gas mileage.
